Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PackTogether mobile application ("App") and related services provided by Amikay Technologies LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PackTogether, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PackTogether is a collaborative trip planning application that enables users to:

• Create and manage group events and trips
• Build shared packing lists with item assignments
• Track and split shared expenses
• Organize items into bags with weight tracking
• Communicate with group members through in-app messaging

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use PackTogether. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to update your information as needed.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@packtogether.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create within the App, including event names, packing list items, photos, chat messages, and expense descriptions ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to provide the service.

You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the App or its servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses
• Use the App to distribute spam or unsolicited messages
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PackTogether offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features are subject to recurring charges billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles will be displayed before purchase.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

7. Expense Splitting Disclaimer

The expense splitting and settlement features are provided as informational tools to help organize group costs. PackTogether does not process payments or transfer funds between users. We are not responsible for the accuracy of expense data entered by users or for any financial disputes between group members.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Amikay Technologies LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or to the service. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PackTogether is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amikay Technologies LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or personal injury.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, where Amikay Technologies LTD is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
